A good website stands out but a great website stands apart. These days, number of online web designing tools are available that has simplified the process of website creation. Anyone with basic computer and internet knowledge can create a good web page within hours. All you need is a valid E-mail address to get yourself registered to the free web designing service.
Though we can do web designing as per our need, these free services has many limitations.
- No control over ads: When a free website is completely designed and published, the website become live on internet. If the website gets good number of hits regularly, the service provider starts placing advertisements on the webpage. Webpage owner has no control over these ads and it sometimes become very annoying because nobody like unwanted advertisements crawling on their webpage or website.
- Limited pages are available: If we use a free web designing tool to get our webpage created, we should keep in mind that the number of pages these tools offer is limited to 1 in most of the cases.
- We cannot choose a domain of our need: Free web designing services does not offer Dot com or a dot net domain (.Com or .Net). While registration, we have to choose a domain name for our website or webpage, if the name is not taken by anyone then we do get that name but it also has extensions of the service provider.
- Content and format Limitation: There are multiple formats for different types of files. For example, an image file can be in JPEG, PNG or Bitmap format, an audio file can be in Mp3 Wav or Wma format. These free web designing tools does not support every format so we have to convert our content into the format that is supported by the designing tool.
